The Expressions Summer Intensive is a premier program by the Innovative Arts Conservatory Foundation, offering an exceptional platform for students aged 9 to 19 to explore and refine their talents in art, dance, media, theater, and music. This six-week immersive experience fosters artistic growth, collaboration, and confidence, culminating in a showcase that highlights student achievements.

Expressions Summer Intensive Audition Process

​General Guidelines

• Age Range: 9 to 19 years old
• Format: In-person or video submission
• Criteria: Creativity, technical skill, stage presence, and willingness to learn

Discipline-Specific Requirements

Dance

• Live: Warm-up, 1–2-minute solo, and group choreography.
• Video: 1–2-minute solo and technical skill clip.

Theater

• Live: 1–2-minute monologue and cold reading.
• Video: Monologue and a short personal introduction.

Music

• Live: 2–3-minute performance (instrumental or vocal) and scales/exercises.
• Video: Performance and musical background.

Media

• Portfolio: 3-5 work samples with a brief creative explanation.

Art

• Portfolio: 3-5 pieces with technique descriptions.
• Optional Live Task: 30-minute creative challenge.
